Is luxury vinyl plank (LVP) truly 100% waterproof?
Yes. Rigid core SPC (stone plastic composite) flooring will not swell, buckle, or warp if exposed to pooling water, making it the ideal flooring choice for Florida homes, pets, and pools.
Why is subfloor preparation so critical for LVP?
LVP relies on a flat surface. If the concrete has high spots or dips, planks can unlock or feel hollow. Loyd personally inspects and laser-checks the subfloor, grinding down peaks and filling low spots before a single plank is clicked together.
Can you install LVP over existing ceramic tile?
In many cases yes, provided the existing tile is sound, completely bonded, and grout lines are skimmed flat. We inspect your floor in person to confirm the best approach.
How long does a whole-house flooring installation take?
A 1,500 to 2,500 sq ft home usually takes 3 to 4 days, including demolition, subfloor leveling, and installing new baseboards.
