Homeowner Reviews & Reputation

"Loyd Small is in a class of his own. We had three contractors quote our master bathroom remodel, but Loyd was the only one who personally took all measurements and explained the Schluter waterproofing system. His tile work is museum quality. The zero-entry shower looks stunning."

"Loyd and his crew showed up on time every day, laid down protective runners on our hardwood floors, and kept the dust contained. Our new quartz countertops and custom solid-wood cabinets transformed our whole downstairs. Honest, talented, and true to his word."

"We replaced 20-year-old carpet with luxury vinyl plank throughout our entire home, plus added 5-1/4" crown molding in every room. The mitered corners on the crown are completely seamless—no gaps anywhere! Loyd takes family pride in what he builds."

"Our stairs were squeaky and had dated builder carpet. Loyd reinforced the stringers, eliminated every single creak, and installed gorgeous solid white oak treads with painted risers. It looks like a high-end luxury model home now."

"As a single homeowner, hiring contractors can be stressful. Loyd Small was courteous, communicative, and gave me a clear written estimate with no surprises. He completed the job two days early! I highly recommend him."

"You can tell Loyd has 30 years under his belt just by watching him handle complex compound angle cuts on trim. Outstanding craftsmanship and a pleasure to work with."
